We donated our services to the University of Florida Dance Marathon event last weekend. From their website, it’s described as:
an annual 26.2-hour event benefiting the patients of Shands Children’s Hospital at the University of Florida. Each year, more than 600 students stay awake and on their feet to raise money and awareness for Children’s Miracle Network. In the 14 years of Dance Marathon at UF’s existence, more than $2.8 million has been donated making us the largest and most successful student-run philanthropy in the Southeastern United States.
It was really inspiring watching the hundreds of students pulling together for such a great cause and we wanted to help make the experience enjoyable with our booth! Our favorite part is when parents and children who had benefitted from Shands Children’s Hospital came on stage and described what their family had gone through over the years and how grateful they were to UF’s medical team.
Here are a few photos from our perspective:

One of the most fun parts of our job is always being on the hunt for new props! We have a variety of hats, a fake butcher knife (for taking out that agression!) and the always popular pink fuzzy guitar.
Any suggestions for must-have props we should add?
We attended our first wedding expo last weekend as a vendor! It took place at the Hilton on 34th Street. We were really impressed with the show that Solution Bridal’s Newell Fox put on. The quality of vendors and fashion show were top-notch.

Our booth was being run by our two lovely ladies, Jenoa and Kaela, and they gave out free photos to brides-to-be for over 5 hours! It was a big hit and everybody had a great time. Something happens to people when they step into a photo booth that instantly makes them goofy!
